Thesis Submission Process.

Pre – submission (April – 2024).

  1. Min residential time attendance needs to be complete. Currently it is 24 or 30 months.
  2. Complete minimum requirement. Current minimum requirement are as follows:
    1. Two international conference certificates.
    2. Two Peer reviewed journals. (SCI, SCIE, Scopus, Or UGC Care listed Journals only)
  3. At the time the Research articles are published or accepted in Journal, the Journal needs to be indexed in the above mentioned indexing. For precaution take screenshot of the Journal indexing site at the time your paper is published or accepted.
  4. Form needs to be filled regarding the details of the Journals and Conferences.
  5. A copy of published journals first page, in case of acceptance only but not published, mail of acceptance from the publishers email id, the journal indexing source screenshot, and conference certificates.
  6. A copy of all the below listed documents:
    1. Course work certificate.
    2. Combined progress report of all the time since enrollment.
    3. Intimation letter.
    4. All Fees receipts.
  7. Extension letter is also required in case of any extension is applied.

Note: All the xerox copies need to be self-attested.

Once the pre – submission is completed the scholar needs to collect the DPC report. The DPC report needs to be thoroughly checked by the candidate before signature of all the DPC members and do the correction if needed.

Final thesis submission (April 2024).

For final thesis submission the first thing we need is a complete thesis. In thesis below mandate required documents will be enclosed.

  1. Declaration for plagiarism (Self attested).
  2. Certificate of originality (Signed by Supervisor, HOD and Dean).
  3. Course work examination certificate or marksheet.
  4. D.P.C. Report of Pre – submission.
  5. Plag report (Plag under 10 %).
  6. Acknowledgement (Self attested).
  7. Abstract and remaining thesis work.

A summary or abstract file of the thesis is also required.

Note:

Once we have a complete thesis, we have to fill the thesis submission form and get the NOC form accounts and library department. After which it will be verified from the dean office.

The thesis submission form needs to be filled and first signed by the supervisor, then the head of the department. For these signatures from supervisor and HOD, all the documents from pre-submission are required along with DPC report and last six months attendance photocopy. After this the form need to be verified from the accounts department.

Note that the form needs to be stamped by the HOD.

Accounts department verification.

First the form needs to be submitted at the account department with the signature of Supervisor and HOD, along with the bellow documents:

  1. Fees for latest extension should be submitted, if taken extension, otherwise current session fees needs to be submitted. A copy of fees receipt with verification from account department is required.
  2. PhD submission fees (Currently it is Rs. 10000). A copy of fees receipt with verification from account department is required.
  3. A copy of enrollment letter.
  4. Extension letter, if extension is applied.

With this, one will get the verification from accounts department.  The form needs to be checked for signature and stamp.

Library department verification.

The librarian will only verify your form once it will be verified form the accounts department. The form verified from the accounts department will be submitted to the librarian along with the CD of thesis, mentioned above.

In library we need to inform them that we are from electronics department and we don’t have an account in central library. The CD will be checked by them for all the contents and then the Librarian will sign and stamp on the thesis submission form.

Dean office verification.

Before moving to the dean’s office one needs to be sure about the following documents list:

  1. Form verified from supervisor, HOD, accounts department and library department.
  2. A printout of the all the Journals mentioned in the thesis.
  3. Printout of international conference certificates.
  4. DPC Report Copy
  5. Intimation Letter
  6. Extension letters copy (With highlighted entry of yours)
  7. Course work examination certificate or marksheet.
  8. Thesis submission fees receipt.
  9. Latest Fee receipt of current session or extension fees receipt.

With this you can get the signature form the dean office. Following is the notice from dean section regarding documents required for thesis submission at dean office.

Research section final submission.

Along with all the documents from the dean office you need to add only two things, last 6 months attendance printout or application of leave, and an application for thesis submission certificate. With this your thesis will get submitted.

Once you submit your thesis ask the clerical staff to send the email of consent to the external examiner and dispatch the hard copy of your thesis soon.

Soft copy submission of thesis. 

The 15 MB file of your thesis containing signatures of all three supervisor, HOD and dean will be submitted to the Supervisor. Supervisor will send this file from his / her university / official email ID to the research department. This file will then be sent to the external examiners.

After thesis submission

Once you will submit the hard copy of the thesis, you will receive a submission certificate (It could be at the same day or after seven to fourteen days ).

After allocating this certificate, the research department needs to send the consent email to the external examiner.

Once getting the reply from the external examiners, the research department will send the soft copy of the thesis received via main from the supervisor, to the external examiners and the hard copy to the supervisor. (We need to make sure that the dispatch department has sent the hard copy to the supervisor.)
